woman looking stressed, worried

Stop managing your stresses and your pains. Get rid of them.

I am a Stress Management expert, but I don’t believe in managing stress. Managing stress means you keep it and you fiddle with it, and you try to control it.  You don’t need it. Let it go. You don’t need to manage the symptoms, you need to root out the cause and stop pushing the panic button.

“Stress is not a state of mind… it’s measurable and dangerous, and humans can’t seem to find their off-switch.” Robert Sapolsky, award-winning neurobiologist, in the documentary Stress: Portrait of a Killer.)

What stresses do you need to address before it becomes dangerous to you?

  • Emotional:  The only person who can stop the stress is you. You started it by your reaction, so you can stop it. The emotional stress is not caused by what is happening to or around you. Emotional stress is caused by your reaction to what happens to or around you. Linda can help you reprogram your subconscious and change that reaction.
  • Physical:  Broken bones, bruises, concussions, allergies, and bug bites are Physical stresses that can all be changed too. Your body sets off an automatic pattern to deal with it. What if you could reprogram that pattern? What if you could change the body’s automatic responses?  The good news is….you can. Using the body’s information and electrical systems we can refresh the programming and get the body to speed up how it heals.  You can heal anything when the body has the right information.Take care of your body, its the only place you have to live.
  • Mental:  Got tapes that play in your head? How about horrible pictures that flare up when you see or hear something (PTSD)? Fears keep you trapped from moving forward? The mental stresses are rooted in misfiring memories locked in your energy system by trauma. Your energy system has an erase program! Linda can help you use it to clear the memories, flashbacks, fears, nightmares and terrors that you can’t consciously control.
  • Spiritual:  Spiritual stresses often express themselves as depression or anxiety. Worry about the future and feeling like you don’t belong can undermine the best of us. The greater questions can eat away at your inner peace: Why am I here?  What am I doing? Let Linda help you learn to listen to your inner voice and find your place.

As we evolved, the stress response saved our lives by empowering us to run from predators or take down prey. It is known as “fight or flight”. But today, we are turning on the same “life-saving” reaction to cope with $4 per gallon gasoline, overdue bills, fear of the future, difficult bosses, and traffic jams—and we have a hard time turning it off.

Constantly being in a stress response has you marinating in corrosive hormones and acids around the clock.

Dr. Lissa Rankin, author of Mind Over Medicine, says:

“Our bodies know how to fix broken proteins, kill cancer cells, retard aging, and fight infection. They even know how to heal ulcers, make skin lesions disappear and knit together broken bones! But here’s the kicker—those natural self-repair mechanisms don’t work if you’re stressed!”

It always amazes me how serious stress impacts on our body – and how many people just accept it and soldier on. R. Sapolsky’s documentary should be a must for everyone. Reducing or even eliminating stress should be one of the main health efforts. Thanks for outlining the huge cost it comes with.
