Why do we get the January blues? December is often a crazy busy time of year full of family, shopping, gifts, and often stress. Such pressure for weeks leading up to Christmas, combined with time off, extra bills, and colder temperatures, can often have a negative impact on our health. For those of us still recovering from turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes during the holidays, this often leads to a run-down, exhausted frame of mind!
As a result, January often feels sluggish and slow. It is consistenly harder and harder to drag ourselves out of bed! Don’t give up ~ we have a plan! It is time to detoxify! It is time to evaluate our health; emotionally, physically, and spiritually and make some changes. One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to “reset”. Take the time to ask yourself, “what do I need today”?
